Limited Edition Die Cast Metal Collector Replica
1:16 scale, Highly Detailed by SpecCast
Gasoline-powered tractors were gone by the 1980's. The 175-185 basic power train had been in production since 1948, although greatly improved throughout that period. New, more efficient diesel engines were available. Synchronized transmissions were considered the standard. The time was right for change.
To provide more nodern entries in the 60-90-horsepower class, two power trains with optional front-wheel assist from Fiat were combined with two new A-C™ four-cylinder 200-cubic-inch turbocharged diesels, one of them intercooled. The resulting 63.83-horsepower Model 6060 and the 83.66-horsepower Model 6080 tractors went into production in the fall of 1980. The 6060 tractors had an eight-speed partially synchronized gearbox while the 6080 boasted a fully synchronized 12-speed transmission. A new ROPS cab was offered for the pair in early 1982. Both had outstanding performance but the 6060 needed more gears.
Recomended for ages 8 and over
